I've had a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding nearly three-decade career in the creative services industry as an accomplished designer and photographer, working in both a client-side and agency-side capacity. I came up in the 'old school' traditional ad/design agency model here in Silicon Valley and soon found my way to become a founding creative partner at Industry Graphics, an award-winning brand design firm that served the unique needs of entrepreneurs and start-ups here in Silicon Valley. I've consistently set the artistic tone and executed on a vast multitude of world-class creative projects and initiatives over the course of my career and thrive in fast-paced environments, where the highest level of inventive and innovative creativity is expected; where brands are created and their stories are fully told; where on-time deliverables and campaign budgets are always met, and where exceeding client expectations is always standard. I have a passion for the creative process as a whole – from ideation to execution, and enjoy the demands of leading and managing groups of collaborative creators, be it remote, hybrid or in person teams.
Making photographs and telling stories through them is my absolute comfort zone as it relates to art making. I was immersed in photography from an early age by my late photography-obsessed father, I inherited his passion for the craft of image making, honing an acute eye and sense for a scene as it relates to composition, as well as becoming adept in the artistry that’s administered behind the lens. To this day, he still plays a major role in every aspect of my identity as an artist and what I create as well as the approach and methods I embody when going about creating it. This early foundation in image making led me to a deep study in the visual arts, with creative explorations in graphic and 3D design, sculpture, painting, and photography, earning a BFA with concentration in photography in the process.
